Everything You Need to Know About Gold: Mining, Refining, and Uses (FAQ)

Browse the jewellery collection at www.hallmarkgoldbazaar.com , select a product and submit your contact details or purchase enquiry. Our authorised customer-support team will contact you to confirm product availability, final price, payment and delivery details.
Account registration may be required for certain purchases, order tracking, reward points, offers or other services. You must provide accurate contact and delivery information.
KYC may be required depending on the transaction value, payment method, applicable law and Company policy. We may request your PAN, identity proof, address proof or bank details. One customer account should normally be maintained against one PAN.
Gold jewellery will carry the applicable BIS hallmark and HUID where required by law. Customers should verify the hallmark, HUID, purity and invoice when receiving the product.
The purity of each product, such as 22-karat or another applicable purity, will be stated in its description, order confirmation or invoice. Please verify the purity before completing your purchase.
The final price may include:
  • Prevailing gold value
  • Net gold weight
  • Making or labour charges
  • Wastage, where disclosed
  • Gemstone or other component charges
  • Hallmarking or certification charges
  • Shipping and insurance
  • GST and other applicable taxes
A complete price breakdown will be shown or communicated before the order is confirmed.
Yes. Gold prices fluctuate, and submitting an enquiry or adding an item to a cart does not lock its price. The applicable price will be confirmed when your order is accepted and the required payment is received.
A small variation may occur because many jewellery products are handcrafted. The final invoice will show the actual billable weight, purity, applicable rate and charges.
The gross weight may include gemstones, beads, enamel, thread, lac, fittings or other non-gold components. Where applicable, the product description or final invoice will identify the gold weight and relevant component charges.
All products are subject to stock availability. Adding a product to a cart, wishlist or enquiry form does not reserve it. Availability will be confirmed before payment or final order acceptance.
Available payment methods will be displayed on the Website or communicated through an authorised Company channel. Do not transfer money to an employee’s, representative’s or agent’s personal account unless the Company has formally confirmed the payment details in writing.
Yes. Customers will receive an invoice containing the relevant product, weight, purity, price and tax details. Please keep the invoice for returns, exchanges, repairs, warranty services or future buyback enquiries.
Yes, subject to design and production availability. Before confirming a customised order, we will communicate the approved design, purity, approximate weight, size, price basis, advance payment and estimated completion time.
Once production has started, customised, engraved, resized, altered or made-to-order jewellery cannot ordinarily be cancelled, returned or exchanged. An exception may apply if the product is defective, materially different from the approved specification or returnable under applicable law.

Any non-refundable advance or cancellation deduction will be disclosed before order confirmation.
The estimated delivery period will be communicated when the order is confirmed. Delivery time may vary according to product availability, customisation, destination, courier service and circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
Shipping and insurance arrangements, including any related charges, will be confirmed before dispatch. Customers should ensure that the delivery address and contact details are complete and accurate.
Identity or OTP verification may be required for secure delivery. The customer or authorised recipient should remain available to complete the verification.
Do not accept a visibly opened, damaged or tampered package. Record the issue with the delivery agent and contact Hallmark Gold Bazaar immediately.
We recommend recording one continuous, clear unpacking video showing:
  • The sealed outer package
  • The shipping label
  • All sides of the package
  • The opening process
  • The jewellery, invoice, certificate and other contents
The recording may assist us in investigating a missing, damaged or incorrect-product complaint.
Contact us within 48 hours after delivery. Provide your order information, invoice, photographs of the package and product, and a continuous unpacking video where reasonably available.

The absence of an unpacking video will not remove any non-waivable statutory consumer right.
An eligible return request must be submitted within seven days after delivery. The jewellery must be unused, unaltered and returned with its original invoice, certificate, tags, packaging and accessories.

Return eligibility remains subject to inspection and the Company’s Return, Refund and Exchange Policy.
A return may be refused for:
  • Jewellery damaged after delivery
  • Worn, used or altered jewellery
  • Jewellery resized or repaired by another party
  • Products with missing or substituted components
  • Personalised, engraved or customised products, unless defective
  • Requests submitted outside the seven-day period, unless return is required by law
After the returned product passes identity, weight, hallmark, authenticity and condition checks, an approved refund will ordinarily be processed to the original payment method within 14–21 business days.

Additional processing time imposed by a bank or payment provider may apply.
Shipping, insurance, making charges and payment-processing charges will be refundable only where stated in the applicable Return and Refund Policy or required by law.
Exchange requests are subject to the applicable policy, product inspection and verification. The value of an exchange may be based on the net gold weight, purity and prevailing Company exchange rate.

Making charges, taxes and the original retail price may not be fully recoverable.
A buyback facility may be available subject to physical inspection, purity testing, KYC and the policy applicable on the transaction date.

The valuation may include deductions for gemstones, non-gold materials, impurities, melting or testing. The valuation and deductions will be communicated before the transaction is completed.
Yes. Please provide the correct delivery information. Secure-delivery verification may still be required. Returns and exchanges will require the original invoice and other applicable documents.
Not necessarily. Prices, making charges, stock and promotional offers may differ between online, retail, wholesale, custom-order and bulk-purchase channels.
Yes, subject to availability and approval. Bulk and wholesale transactions may require a separate quotation, purchase order, payment schedule or written agreement.
No. Reward points, wallet credits and promotional bonuses are subject to the rules of the applicable programme. They are not bank deposits, investment products, legal tender or guaranteed income.
